Do you like delectable desserts and good music? Then join members of the Honesdale High School Chorus as they put on their annual Dessert Theater on Friday May 4, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. in the Honesdale High School Cafeteria. Students in grades 9-12 have prepared music of varying genres to perform. The students have worked diligently to perform music from Broadway shows, jazz, and pop just to name a few. When students were asked what their favorite part of Dessert Theater is they each had something different that they enjoy. Senior Melody Feustel said that her favorite part is: "having the opportunity to perform a song of my choice that I would not normally be able to sing at the Chorus concert." Michael Kirk, Honesdale High School senior said "everyone gets an equal chance to show their talents and find something that is strong and meaningful and will showcase their best performance." Under the direction of Mrs. Martha Curtis the students have been practicing and preparing for this after school hours to make this a great show. Mrs. Martha Curtis said that she is "extremely proud of these young students as they have taken the time to pick out their songs and prepare them carefully because this show is one of the highlights of their school year." As people are listening to the music they are invited to have a cup of coffee and all-you-can-eat desserts prepared by the Chorus Parents group. We invite you to support the Honesdale High School Chorus students annual Dessert Theater as you enjoy an evening of music an desserts on Friday May 4, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. Tickets are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and senior citizens.
